Glassworks Novosad a syn is private firm and it is the second the oldest glassworks in Bohemia. The glassworks originated before 1712 at Jilemnice manor that belonged to Harrach's count family. The production is orientated to luxurious sets of drinking glasses, decorative hlasses and crystal cut chandeliers. The traditional techniques are proserved there. On zour visit you will see the processing of glass by hand. The tour around the factory includes 100 year old historical cutting room whose original equipment is powered by water turbine with transmissions. Everything is fully functional there. The tour is gueded in cyech, german and english language. The excursions are from Monday to Sunday, 8:00 - 15:00 h. The excursion of museum abides about 1 h.
